Kate Tallant Meier

Kate Tallant Meier brings over 20 years of experience in creating social change with a focus on the relationship between business and society. She works closely with corporate and civil society leaders to create greater equity through core business strategy, philanthropic giving, and cross-sector partnerships. Previously, Kate was the Head of Save the Children’s Global Business Partnerships & Innovation Hub, a 20-person team responsible for designing, delivering, and evaluating innovative programs with business and philanthropy partners across its 120 countries. Before her tenure at Save the Children, Kate was a Director at FSG, a purpose-driven consulting firm founded by Harvard Professor Michael E Porter and Mark Kramer, where she led the firm’s Global Education Practice, advising global companies, foundations, and NGOs on how to create more equitable outcomes in education. Her previous clients include GSK, Unilever, Pearson, Intel, Barclays, SAP, the Children’s Investment Fund Foundation, and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, among others. Kate received her MBA from Georgetown University and is now based in London. She is the co-author of a number of papers and blogs, such as “Centering Equity in Corporate Purpose,” “What Does It Really Take for Companies to Lead on Gender Equity,” “The New Role of Business in Global Education,” and “A Roundtable on Shared Value in Education” in the Stanford Social Innovation Review.

 

Alison Reynolds

Alison Reynolds is an expert in leadership development and advisor to senior executives around the world on how to initiate and sustain change. Her most recent work explores how to support business leaders in expanding equality and opportunity for women. She is a member of faculty at Hult International Business School and Program Director at Ashridge Executive Education where she designs and delivers executive education in the field of leadership, strategy execution, and organization development. Alison was featured on the Thinkers50 Radar of business thinkers to watch in 2019 for her research in leadership behaviors that create the conditions for diverse, inclusive, adaptable organizations. Together with David Lewis, Alison created the Qi Index, a tool used by organizations worldwide to support leaders in making positive shifts in how their organization is experienced emotionally and behaviorally. Her co-authored book, “What Philosophy Can Teach You About Being a Better Leader” was published in October 2019. Alison is a regular keynote speaker and her work features consistently in Harvard Business Review. Her publications include “Teams Solve Problems Faster When They’re More Cognitively Diverse,” “Closing the Strategy-Execution Gap Means Focusing on What Employees Think, Not What They Do,” and “The Two Traits of the Best Problem-Solving Teams.”

 

Gillian Bath

Gillian Bath has worked with business and civil society leaders for more than a decade, with a focus on advancing global health equity. Her most recent research explored how business can distribute value and risk equitably in collaboration with the World Business Council for Sustainable Development. Gillian is the Director of Business Partnerships at mothers2mothers where she leads the organization’s work to design and develop strategic initiatives to improve maternal, newborn, and child health in collaboration with the private sector. Previous to mothers2mothers, Gillian led the Strategy & Design Team within Save the Children’s Global Business Partnerships & Innovation Hub where she crafted the organization’s largest multi-sector partnerships to deliver impact in some of the most challenging contexts across sub-Saharan Africa. Her previous clients include Prudential, Philips, Olam, GSK, Twinings, and Bank of America, among others. Gillian received her MA in International Development and MPH in Global Health from the George Washington University.
